New Ships delivery IV & V

Arriving in 2024 we will see 2 new purpose built ships, that will replace the existing fleet. These ships will measure over 212 metres with space for up to 1,800 passangers, with each vessel featuring 301 new cabins, 118 standard recliners and 47 business recliners. The most significant difference is the 59.8 % increase in vehicle lanes for passengers and freight vehicles. Unlike the current ships, all vehicle lanes will have extra height and will fit caravans and campervans. For more information on these up coming ships and to follow their progress click here

How does booking a motorhome/campervan differ to booking a caravan?

'Motorhome' means a road vehicle designed and constructed primarily to provide sleeping accommodation for the number of occupants that the vehicle is designed to carry. A motorhome is also referred to as a campervan. When making your booking, you need to book the motorhome or campervan as a vehicle and at the vehicle step, select the motorhome/campervan option.

A 'caravan' is a unit which is designed and constructed primarily to provide sleeping accommodation. However it is a separate non-motorised unit and therefore must be towed by a motorised unit in order to be transported. When booking your caravan, you need to select the 'towing a caravan or trailer' option. You will need to provide the full length of your vehicle from end to end. The length includes the caravan and attachments such as a drawbar, bike racks, gas cylinders etc.

It is important that you provide the correct length and height for your vehicle at the time of booking, this will ensure sufficient space is confirmed for your selected sailing. Vehicle measurements are subject to confirmation on check-in and if incorrect you may be required to pay extra for the additional length to be added to your vehicle or if we are unable to accommodate the adjusted length or height of your vehicle this may result in your passage being denied.

Your ticket price is determined by whether you are bringing a vehicle on board, that vehicle’s length and the accommodation you select. Please note that fares and availability can change during the booking process and are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.
